The shipping company Jens und Waller GmbH & Co.KG from Stade has a long maritime tradition: Even before Second World War, Wilhelm Waller had the first ships into service, his son Dieter
followed him. Since 1959 Dieter Waller went to sea. In 1967 he received his captain's license. His nephew Ulf Jens was quick to get a sniff of the sea air and has been on board the shipping
company for many years now. The graduate engineer Ulf Jens jointly guided and managed now the family company and its powerful fleet.
The Shipping Company purchases it's first Container Vessel in 1978. In 1978 it was a few hundred containers that clarified the ships, so for the customers Jens & Waller, now they have a
capacity mroe than 11.500 containers. This steady growth will continue managing and expanding the fleet gradually.
The family establishment contains more than 200 employees at sea and eight more on land and is well known to be flexible and strong.
